We celebrated the achievement of every Senior at Temple High School. Scholarships were given to selected applicants from various organizations. The NAACP Temple Branch gave six scholarships and laptops to all senior students who were in attendance on that day.

The NAACP Temple Branch awarded six scholarships open to all who met the academic and financial need requirements.
ROXIE MOORE SCHOLARSHIP
Roxie Mae Moore devoted most of her adult life to serving others. Mrs. Moore was active in the Temple Branch NAACP from the 1970s until her passing in 2016.
She earned the David Henderson Jr. Award, the NAACP Temple Branch Roll of Honor Award, and her Silver Life membership certificate during her involvement in the NAACP.
Our pleasure will be to present our highest scholarship, the Roxie Mae Moore Award, to a deserving student.
